SYNOPSIS

On the eve of the American invasion of Iraq, a young Iraqi translator is forcibly conscripted into secret, high-stakes negotiations between the Iraqi regime and U.S. diplomats. His physical and emotional unraveling, compounded by illness and the deceitful nature of the American representative, drives him to a point of no return, where he must choose between survival, betrayal, and sacrifice.
